The Christian Science approach. Anthony assists those in need exclusively along the lines laid out in the Christian Science text book “Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures” by Mary Baker Eddy, the founder of the Christian Science movement and the First Church of Christ Scientist in Boston Massachusetts. Christian Science insists on the perfection of man made in God’s image and likeness. The work of a Christian Science practitioner is to understand the relationship of man to God to the point where the perfection inherent in man is manifest in the experience of the patient he is helping.
